Every marketplace starts you at zero, even after ten years of work.
You have shipped products, closed the books, run campaigns, taught classes. Then you open a freelance profile and it says: joined this week, no reviews, no history. A client cannot tell you from someone who started last month.
So you bid low to win a first job, and the job you take says nothing about the work you can do. Career Bridge is for people who already have a career. It takes the employment you can prove and gives it a place on your profile from day one: a verified record, a badge that tells the truth, and a starter kit written from the history you have actually earned.
It works with any employer that gives you a work email, from a ten-person agency to a large enterprise, and there are other proofs for employers that do not.

Add an employment record (employer, title, dates, industry, company size), then attach proof. Strong proofs verify instantly. Senior titles, mismatched domains and document-only proofs are checked by a person.
Your LinkedIn data export
Download the export LinkedIn gives you and upload it. We match the positions in it to the record you added. Nothing is scraped and we never ask for your LinkedIn password.
A pay slip or bank statement
Black out the amounts and any ID numbers first. A person checks that the employer and the dates match your record. The file is deleted 30 days after a decision.
A code sent to your work email
We send a code to [email protected] and you type it back. Free mailboxes are refused, so the code proves the mailbox belongs to the employer on your record.
A two-question reference
Name a manager or a colleague. They get two short questions and answer from their work address. That is the only person we ever contact about your job.
A colleague invite
A colleague who is already verified invites you. Sign up with your work email and you are verified on the spot, because two people at the same employer have now proved the same thing.
Then a fresh code, once a year
Verification lasts 12 months. After that we ask for a fresh code to your work email, or a new proof if you have moved on. Left the job? Your record stays, dated, and reads as past employment.
Freelance at the pace you choose.
You pick a stage when you set up and you can change it whenever your life changes. Nothing locks you in.
Moonlighter
Keep the job. Work evenings and weekends under a weekly hours cap you set, take small fixed-price gigs first, and stay in employer-safe mode so your side work never shows up where your employer might look.
Part-timer
A 20-hour week built on retainers and recurring clients. The same clients who booked you for an evening job can keep you on a monthly arrangement.
Independent
The whole platform: hourly billing with the time tracker, contracts, invoices, escrow on fixed-price work and the AI connectors. Everything a full-time freelancer uses, under the profile you already built.
A starter kit written from your history
Once a job is verified, Career Bridge drafts a headline, an overview and three service packages from the record. Edit them, publish them, and your profile stops looking like a blank page.
A first-client list of evening-sized jobs
Jobs marked evenings and weekends, jobs marked part-time friendly, and jobs with small fixed budgets: the ones that fit around a working week. Clients can post with those options and can filter talent search to verified professionals.
Three privacy modes. You decide who sees what.
The badge itself has a privacy choice too: show the employer's name, or only a description such as "8 yrs, senior designer, 500-person software company".
Open
Your page is indexed by search engines and your employer's name is shown. For people who are free to say where they work.
Discreet
Indexed under your full name, with employer and client names hidden. People find you; they do not find out who you work for.
Hidden
Kept out of Google, invisible to viewers from the companies you name, and shown as a first name and an initial. The mode behind employer-safe mode in the Moonlighter stage.
Whatever the mode, we never contact your employer. The only person we ever write to is the referee you name, with the two questions you have seen.

The hope meter
Enter your salary once. The meter sets your freelance earnings over the last 90 days against a quarter of that salary and marks four milestones: First income (5%), Side income established (30%), Could go part-time (70%) and Could go independent (100%).
The salary and the meter are private. They are never shown to clients, other members or anyone else, and the meter makes no promise about your income. It is a mirror, not a forecast.
The leaving-well checklist
For the day the meter says "could go independent" and your head says "not yet". A plain list of the things to settle before you hand in notice:
